- 西嶼濱海公路在站長的心目中評價甚高，以澎湖的海岸風光來比較，僅次於七美東岸的濱海公路，兩年前在PTT澎湖板就不斷鼓吹走西嶼濱海公路。站長約在15年前第一次走西嶼濱海公路，原因是逛西嶼時迷路啦！於是就在西嶼東岸的小徑上穿梭尋路，意外地發現這條風景秀麗的濱海公路。當時濱海公路並非全線貫通，許多路段是難行的產業泥道，不像現在都鋪設柏油路面外加涼亭、木棧道等設施。

- 竹灣到二崁路段、大菓葉路段、赤馬路段有豐富發達的柱狀玄武岩與海蝕平台。
- 沙灘潔淨：
- 濱海公路從合界一直到赤馬段佈滿了大小不一的沙灘，站長統計過至少有六片沙灘羅布在這段海域，由於該海域沙灘並非遊客活動區域，所以不但潔淨，沙灘上更有許多美艷的貝殼跟小石子。
- 公路迂迴：
- 濱海公路並非直線道路，公路蜿蜒曲折，竹灣到二崁路段更有段陡坡，一面為玄武岩大石高聳矗立，另一面陡峭懸崖得一覽遠方海上船隻及箱網，頗有蘇花公路的海岸風情。
